| A day of Unity, Fellowship....and Rain. Yet we walk on! (by V.P. Antwain Conner) The 4th Annual Unity Walk Community Event was in a word, amazing! This one showed how, even in the midst of a challenge, how unity can persevere, and overcome any challenge. We (KCC Members) arrived at Spanish Plaza Park beginning at 4am (I was slightly tardy [4:45am]), and was met by what would be a part of our Saturday morning/afternoon: rain...and lots of it. Long story short, didn't know what to expect as the day went forward. What I saw were the most dedicated of members, volunteers, event guests, and performers ever! In spite of the elements, the 4th Annual Unity Walk Community Event pressed on , was if not the best of the 4, its no. 2, no question! KCC, Inc. thanks the volunteers, the sponsors, guests and performers for making this walk, one never to forget and one to always reminisce on as a day of sacrifice, love, fellowship....of Unity. 360 days and counting till next year!
